| This is my grandfather, Berger Theodore Fieldsa. He died in an accident while he was in Belgium during World War II. He was riding in a jeep and was struck in the head by a gun that was on a tank that was passing them. Berger went by a couple of different names. He was known as Wilbur Fields and William Fieldsa and also had the nicknames of "Handy" and "Billy." This photo was provided by Marjorie Fields Zaborney. |
