Here is a photo of
Joseph Leonard Conley that was taken about 1930. J.L. was the brother of my great-grandfather,
Garfield Conley. According to
Enid Connelly May, who provided this photo "Just thought you might like to know that my great-grandfather owned several General Merchandise stores in his lifetime. In this photo - the one you have posted - the apron he has on does not hold nails and such but money for making change and maybe handing out to candy for the local children. Todd Preston said he remembers him as being known as Uncle Len."
