Notes: When Arch Conley's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Catlettsburg, Boyd County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a miner working for Jess Wilson in Ashland, Boyd County, Kentucky, that his closest relative was Miram Conley of Unity, Boyd County, and that he was born February 14, 1874. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had blue eyes and black hair.

Arch Conley's obituary states that he died at age 78 after an illness of 2 years. He was born February 14, 1874 in Carter County and was a resident of Boyd County for 30 years. Surviving were "the widow, Mrs. Miriam Conley; three daughters Mrs. Ruth Cooksey and Mrs. Esther Kiser, both of Ashland, and Miss Bess Conley at home; four sons, Russell and John H. Conley, Galliopolis, O., Clifford Conley, Ashland, and Ernest Conley at home, and 14 grandchildren."

According to his death certificate, Arch Conley died August 5, 1952 in Cannonsburg from apoplexy and carcinoma of the face. Also on this certificate, his birthplace is listed as Carter County, his birthdate as February 14, his age as 78, his marital status as married, his parents as Henry Conley and Mahala Davis, and the informant as Mrs. A. Conley.

According to her death certificate, Miriam Ann Womack Conley died November 22, 1952 in Cannonsburg from apoplexy. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Greenup County, her birthdate as July 17, 1874, her marital status as widowed, her parents as Nathan W.
