She was born July 17, 1885 in Johnson County, Kentucky, died July 9, 1920 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, and is buried in the Ham Conley Cemetery in Falcon, Magoffin County, Kentucky. He married (2) AUDREY GIBSON, daughter of BURNHAM GIBSON and LOUISA BAILEY, May 13, 1922. She was born March 16, 1904 in Gifford, Magoffin County, Kentucky, died March 18, 1947 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky, and was buried March 20, 1947 in Conley Cemetery in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky. He married (3) RUTH ANN RIGSBY, daughter of HARRY RIGSBY and MOUSIE ROWE, December 13, 1947. She was born March 20, 1932 in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky, died October 1, 2001 in Prestonsburg, Floyd County, Kentucky, and is buried in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville, Johnson County, Kentucky. Ruth Ann Rigsby married (2) ROBERT LEWIS PATTON.

    Notes: According to the book "The Conley Clan of Eastern Kentucky," published and sold by The Magoffin County Historical Society, there were two stillborn babies born to Mary and Luther, one on February 14, 1913, and the other on April 4, 1914. The second is probably son William Ham Conley who lived for 5 days before he died.

    When Luther Johnson Conley's World War I draft registration card was filled out on June 5, 1917 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a self-employed farmer in Falcon, Kentucky, that he had a wife and 2 children, that he had been a private in the infantry of the Kentucky State Guard for 3 years, and that he was born April 8, 1889 in Falcon, Magoffin County, Kentucky. He was found to be short, of medium build, and he had black eyes and black hair.

    According to Kentucky death record transcripts, Luther J. Conley died March 18, 1954 in Johnson County at the age of 65.

    According to her death certificate, Mary Conley died July 9, 1920 in State Road Fork from apoplexy. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Johnson County, Her age as 35, her marital status as married, and her parents as W.G. Conley (b. Johnson County) and Sarah Taylor (b. Kentucky). According to "The Conley Clan of Eastern Kentucky", she died from a horseback riding accident.

    According to Kentucky death record transcripts, Ruth A. Rigsby was born March 20, 1932 in Magoffin County to Mousie Rowe.

    According to her death certificate, Audrey Gibson Conley died March 18, 1947 in Paintsville Hospital from 3rd degree burns on 3/4 of her body. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Gifford, Magoffin County, her birthdate as March 16, 1904, her marital status as married, her husband as Luther Conley, her parents as Burnham Gibson (b. Magoffin County) and Lou Bailey (b. Magoffin County), the informant as Luther Conley of Salyersville, Kentucky, and the burial place as the "Conley Place." Although it doesn't say it on her death certificate, the burns were caused by a gas explosion in the apartment where she and Luther lived. The accident happened on February 27, 1947 and she was in the hospital in Paintsville until she died.

    According to her obituary, Audrey Gibson Conley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burnham Gibson of Magoffin County, died March 18, 1947 in a local hospital from burns and shock that she received from a gas explosion on February 27, and was buried in the family cemetery. She was survived by her parents; her husband, Luther Conley, who was the owner of the Conley Bus Lines and the sheriff of Magoffin County; 2 sons, Winfred Conley (living at home) and Woodford Conley (living at home); 2 step-children, Morris Conley (Salyersville) and Mrs. Dudley Green (Jackson, Ohio); and several brothers and sisters.

    According to her obituary, Ruth Ann Rigsby Patton (age 69), daughter of Harry Rigsby and the late Mousie Rowe Rigsby, was born March 20, 1932 in Magoffin County, died October 1, 2001 in Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, and was buried in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville. She was survived by her husband, Robert Lewis Patton (of Paintsville); 1 son, Luther Conley (Paintsville); 1 daughter, Judith Ann Conley (Harold, Kentucky); 2 step-sons, Morris Conley (Staffordsville) and Woodford Conley (Lexington); 2 sisters, Josetta Seagraves (Red Bush, Kentucky) and Eva Mae Johnston (Nashville, Tennessee); 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.     According to his death certificate, James Sluss died February 4, 1940 in Rowan County from apoplexy, hypertension, & arteriosclerosis. Also on this certificate, his birthplace is listed as Elliott County, his birthdate as December 18, 1874, his marital status as married, his wife as Minnie Sluss, his wife's age as 63, his occupation as farmer, his parents as Noah Sluss (b. She married (2) JAMES P. HALL.

    Notes: James Hiram Frazier was the brother of Julia A. Frazier, Elizabeth Frazier, who married Levi Hannah, son of Nancy Fairchild and Ebenezer Scott Hannah, and Mary Ann Frazier.

    James Frazier's parents names were confirmed by finding his sister's Kentucky birth record. According to that record, Sarah Frances Frazier was born March 6, 1874 in Johnson County to Wm. J. Frazier (b. Clay County) and Zelphia Lemaster (b. Johnson County).

    According to her death certificate, Martha Crace Frazier Hall died January 31, 1945 in Paintsville Hospital from cancer of the stomach. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Kentucky, her birthdate as April 5, 1876, her marital status as widowed, her husband as James P. Hall, her parents as Peter Crace (b. Kentucky) and Tempa Conley (b. Kentucky), the informant as Alfred Frazier of Paintsville, Kentucky, and the burial place as Beaver, Ohio.

    According to her obituary, Alice Hall, widow of James T. Hall, was a native of Johnson County and a resident of Beaver, Ohio. She died January 31, 1945 in a local Johnson County hospital following an illness of 5 months, and was buried in Beaver, Ohio. She lived in Beaver with a daughter, Mrs. Julia Hall, and was visiting a son, Alfred Frazier in Staffordsville when she became ill.     According to his obituary, Estill "Buster" Blanton (age 90), son of the late Henry and Rebecca Fairchild Blanton and a resident of Johnson County, was born June 30, 1906, died December 20, 1996 in Paul B.
