He was found to be short, of medium build, and he had black eyes and black hair.

According to Social Security death record transcripts, Dewey Conley was born August 3, 1900, and died in April of 1872. He received his Social Security card prior to 1951 from the Railroad Board, and his last place of residence was in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio.

According to Ohio death record transcripts, Dewey W. Conley died April 1, 1972 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, at the age of 71. He was married at the time of his death.

Also listed are Nora (wife, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, age 21), Nora's brother, Kernie Prater (boarder, born in Kentucky, parents born in Kentucky, age 18) They are living next to her uncle John Prater and his wife Emaline. It's unknown why Henry is listed as a Jr.

Notes: According to their granddaughter, Louise McMillan Aldrich, James came to Missouri as a small baby, settled in Browning, Missouri for a while, and then moved to Marceline, Missouri. He was a coal miner and a farmer. James and Leora bought a farm southeast of Marceline in the early 1920's, where he died in 1949 from the effects of the coal mine. His birthday was on the 4th of July and they always had a gathering and James always tried to have plenty of hand-picked blackberries on hand for fresh blackberry pies.

Notes: When Andrew Jackson Barnett's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a farmer in Flat Gap, Johnson County, that his closest relative was Myrtle Barnett of Flat Gap, and that he was born May 10, 1875. He was found to be tall, of medium build, and he had black eyes and black hair.

According to her death certificate, Nora Stapleton Barnett died February 25, 1918 in Little Gap 2 weeks after the birth of her twins. The cause of death is hard to read. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Kentucky, her birthdate as March 27, 1880, her marital status as married, her parents as Henderson Stapleton (b. Kentucky) and Nancy Daniel (b. Kentucky), and the informant as A.J. Barnett of Kerz, Kentucky.
