GROVER CLEVELAND CONLEY, son of WILLIAM S. CONLEY JR. and NANCY OLIVER, was born June 18, 1893 in Kentucky, and died May 28, 1966. He married (1) EMMA JOSEPH, daughter of ELIJAH JOSEPH. He married (2) STELLA CONLEY, daughter of MARTIN CONLEY and MALINDA OWENS. She was born in July of 1898 in Kentucky. He married (3) BERTHA LOUISE POINTER. She was born about 1895 in Flatwoods, Kentucky, died about 1991 in West Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, and is buried in Rushtown Cemetery in Scioto County, Ohio.

Notes: According to descendant William Timothy Conley, "My grandfather was Grover Cleveland Conley Sr. son of William S. Conley Jr. and Nancy Oliver. Grover was William and Nancy's 2nd born child. My grandmother was Bertha Louise Pointer. She was Grover's 3rd wife. In addition to Grover and Bertha's children she had a son named Glen Vernon Griffith by a prior marriage. My grandfather adopted him after their marriage and from that time forward he went by Glen Vernon Conley. He was their eldest child. My Grandfather also adopted a child named Kelly Conley Jr. Grover's brother Kelly Sr. died and left a son Kelly Conley Jr. Grover and Bertha took him in and adopted him."

LENORA "NORA" GULLETT, daughter of ARIZONA "ZONA" CONLEY and MALCOLM "MACK" GULLETT, was born November 28, 1905 in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky, and died September 22, 1970 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She married OSCAR COLVIN, son of JOHN M. COLVIN and SARAH C. COLLINS, April 12, 1924 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky. He was born April 24, 1890 in Manila, Johnson County, Kentucky, and died in November of 1953.

Notes: According to their marriage certificate, Oscar Colvin (single, b. Johnson County, age 28), son of John and Sarah Collins Colvin, married Nora Gullett (b. Magoffin County, age 19), daughter of Mac and Zona Conley Gullett, on April 12, 1924 in Paintsville.

When Oscar Colvin's World War I draft registration card was filled out on June 5, 1917 in Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a self-employed teamster in Paintsville, Kentucky, that he was single, and that he was born April 24, 1890 in Manila, Kentucky. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had blue eyes and light brown hair.

According to her death certificate, there was an unnamed female baby who was stillborn on January 28, 1936 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky. Also on this certificate, her parents are listed as Oscar Colvin (b. Kentucky) and Nora Gullett (b. Kentucky), and the informant as Oscar Colvin of Paintsville.

According to her obituary, Nora Gullett Colvin, daughter of Arizonia Gullett and the late Mack Gullett, was born November 28, 1905 in Salyersville, and died September 22, 1970 in a Cleveland, Ohio hospital from a heart condition. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Colvin, 16 years prior. She was survived by 2 sons, Bob Colvin (of Cleveland) and Wade Colvin (Cleveland); 2 daughters, Mrs. Pauline Zyla (Cleveland) and Mrs. Mary Louise Dreager (Cleveland); 6 brothers, Virgel Gullett (Salem, Ohio), Mitchell Gullett (Salem), James Gullett (Salem), Warren Gullett (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), Henry Gullett (Lexington, Kentucky), and Zallie Gullett (Paintsville, Kentucky); 2 sisters, Mrs. Nettie McFarland (Salem) and Mrs. Molly Combs (Fort Lauderdale); 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had gray eyes and light brown hair. Not being able to read or write, he signed the card with an "X."

According to his death certificate, Lonzo Adams died August 4, 1925 in Alcorn from an "accidental Shot gun wound inflicted by gun in hands of 12 year old step-son."
