She married PARIS GRANT TRIMBLE, son of JOHN G. TRIMBLE and MATILDA VANHOOSE, September 10, 1897 in Johnson County, Kentucky. He was born November 2, 1872 in Johnson County, Kentucky, died March 27, 1944 in Barnetts Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky, and is buried in Barnetts Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky. Paris Trimble married (2) NANCY BELLE GULLETT, daughter of EZEKIEL GULLETT and SARAH PRATER, September 27, 1908. She was born June 27, 1882 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, died November 5, 1947 in Barnetts Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky, and is buried in the family cemetery in Barnetts Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky. Nancy Gullett married (1) TOBE CRAFT.
Notes: All of the records that have been found that say Dora May Picklesimer married Paris Grant Trimble omit the Ella from her first name. In the 1880 census she is listed as Ella D. Trimble and after that it's just Dora.
According to his death certificate, Paris G. Trimble died March 27, 1944 in Barnetts Creek from chronic nephritis. Also on this certificate, his birthplace is listed as Johnson County, his birthdate as November 2, 1872, his marital status as married, his wife as Dora Trimble, his parents as John G. Trimble (b. Johnson County) and Matilda Vanhoose (b. Johnson County), the informant as Ova Trimble of Barnetts Creek, and the doctor as W.R. Castle. It's unknown why Dora is listed as his wife, when she died in 1904 and Paris re-married.
According to her death certificate, Nancy B. Trimble died November 5, 1947 in Barnetts Creek from carcinoma. Also on this certificate, her birthplace is listed as Magoffin County, her birthdate as June 27, 1882, her marital status as widowed, her husband as Paris Trimble, her father as Ezekel Gullett (b. Magoffin County, Kentucky), her mother's maiden name as Prater (b. Magoffin County, Kentucky), and the informant as Jewell Green of Barnetts Creek, Kentucky.
According to her obituary, Nancy B. Trimble (age 65), widow of Paris Trimble, died November 5, 1947 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Green, in Barnetts Creek following a lingering illness, and was buried in the family cemetery in Barnetts Creek. She was survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Ora Green (of Barnetts Creek), Mrs. June Gutlett (Portsmouth, Ohio), Mrs. Elva Roberts (Tucson, Arizona), and Mrs. Oma Trimble (Ashland).
