When Benjamin Franklin Conley's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a self-employed farmer in Flat Gap, Johnson County, that his closest relative was Dora Conley of Flat Gap, and that he was born March 8, 1874. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had light blue eyes and light black hair.
According to his death certificate, Benj. Franklin Conley died August 16, 1933 in Flat Gap from apoplexy and paralysis.
