Picklesimer (age 84), son of Samuel and Phoeba Rice Picklesimer, was born September 14, 1863 in Johnson County, died July 16, 1948 in the home of his daughter in Sitka, and was buried in Sitka Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Pelphrey, 34 years prior; and 3 children. He was survived by 2 sons, W.N. Picklesimer (of Williamson, West Virginia) and C.H. According to her obituary, Hazel Conley (age 55), daughter of Ida Conley and the late Albert Conley and a former Johnson County school teacher, was born November 28, 1897 in Johnson County, died suddenly at home in Collista on December 26, 1952, and was buried in the family cemetery. She was survived by her mother; her husband, Lindsey "Dick" Conley; and 1 brother, Raymond Conley (of Mt. Sterling, Ohio). According to his obituary, Lindsey "Dick" Conley (age 88), son of John C. and Helen Johnson Conley, was a retired farmer and a resident of Hager Hill at the time of his death. He was born March 24, 1895 in Johnson County, died August 8, 1983 in Paintsville Hospital, and was buried in the family cemetery in Hager Hill. He was survived by his wife, Ruth Blair Conley; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Ollie Rice (of Hager Hill) and Mrs. Arizona "Sissy" Horn (Hager Hill). She was preceded in death by her husband, Linzie Conley. She was survived by 2 sisters, Ruby Blair (of Hager Hill) and Ruie Kestner (Swamp Branch).
