According to "The Conley Clan of Eastern Kentucky," published and sold by The Magoffin County Historical Society (page 322), Daniel Green Conley was born March 23, 1881, died November 15, 1958, and married Mollie Burke, daughter of Calvin and Martha Music Burke. She was born January 8, 1885, and died September 7, 1954.
Green Conley's obituary says that he was born March 23, 1881, but he was shown to be born in March of 1880 in the census for that year. His name is listed as Green B. Conley in a number of different places.
When Green Conley's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Johnson County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a watchman for the Consolidation Coal Company in Van Lear, Johnson County, that his closest relative was "Mollie Conley wife" of Van Lear, and that he was born March 23, 1881. He was found to be tall and stout, and he had brown eyes and black hair.
