He married (1) ADALINE STURGILL, daughter of MILES STURGILL and AMANDA HALL, about 1873. She was born in 1857 in Kentucky, and died February 22, 1894 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Marion Conley married (2) MARY J. (unknown last name) about 1895. She was born in January of 1877 in Kentucky, and died before 1910.

ORPHA CAUDILL, daughter of ROBERT BOYD CAUDILL and FRANCES "FANNIE" RICE, was born June 23, 1903 in Kentucky, and died September 6, 1968 in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky. She married (1) SMITH FANNIN, son of ISAAC FRANKLIN "FRANK" FANNIN and KATHERINE HAMMOND. He was born September 14, 1886 in Salyersville, Magoffin County, Kentucky, died October 13, 1943 in Zebulon, Pike County, Kentucky, and is buried in Gifford, Magoffin County, Kentucky. She married (2) CLARENCE RING.

Notes: Information on this family can be found on page 201 of "The Conley Clan of Eastern Kentucky," published and sold by The Magoffin County Historical Society. In that book, it says that Orpha Caudill was born in 1903, died September 6, 1968, married (1) Smith Fannin, and married (2) Bob King. Social Security records and Kentucky, death records show that Orpha's last name was Ring at the time of her death.

Smith Fannin was the brother of Minnie Fannin Holiday.

Their children Ralph, Ray, & Clarence are also buried in Plum Grove Cemetery, as were Henry's parents, and the stillborn child that Amanda had in 1912.

According to Social Security death record transcripts, Amand [sic] Griffith was born May 20, 1888, and died in January of 1978. She received her Social Security card in 1963 in Kentucky, and her last place of residence was in Ivyton, Magoffin County, Kentucky.

Notes: According to Kentucky birth records, Lucinda Conly was born August 30, 1854 in Johnson County to Jackson Conly and Susannah Horne. It's probable that Jackson was the son of Mary Conley, who was the daughter of Rachel Conley. There is a Jackson that is found in the 1850 census with Rachel's family, along with a Solomon Conley. Solomon Conley later went by the name of Solomon Spradlin.

She married ELZA DOTSON, son of WILLIAM H. DOTSON and NANCY JANE RICHARDSON, about 1903. He was born June 3, 1878 in Floyd County, Kentucky, and died October 15, 1959 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

He was born March 20, 1900 in Kentucky, died January 3, 1968 in Fayette County, Kentucky, and is buried in Bob Prater Cemetery in Floyd County, Kentucky. Levi Prater married (1) ROSA PARROTT.

Notes: Levi Prater's mother's maiden name was reportedly Eva Standiford. This couldn't be substantuated

According to Kentucky birth record transcripts, Myrtle Prater was born in 1922 in Floyd County to Rossey Parret, Mary G. Prater was born in 1925 in Floyd County to Rosia Parrott, and Oliver Prater was born in 1926 in Floyd County to Rosy Parett.

According to Kentucky birth records, Elsie Conley was born November 11 [sic], 1903 in Floyd County to Elza Dotson (b. Floyd County) and Josie Conley (b. Floyd County).

When Levi Prater's World War I draft registration card was filled out on September 12, 1918 in Prestonsburg, Floyd County, Kentucky, he stated that he was a farmer in Brainard, Floyd County, that his closest relative was Adam Prater of Brainard, and that he was born March 20, 1900. He was found to be of medium height and build, and he had blue eyes and brown hair.

Information found on findagrave.com and a photo of their headstone shows that Elsie D. Prater lived from November 10, 1903 to May 6, 1993, and was buried in Bob Prater Cemetery in Floyd County, Kentucky, and that Levi Prater lived from March 20, 1900 to January 3, 1968, and was buried in the same cemetery.
