She was born December 15, 1869 in Arkansas, died January 18, 1913, and is buried in Cupco Cemetery in Yanush, Latimer County, Oklahoma.

Notes: Nancy Hutchinson Slusher's maiden name was confirmed by finding the California death record transcript of her daughter Minnie. The fact that Nancy was the daughter of John and Sarah Hutchinson is based on circumstancial evidence, and there's plenty of it. She was born in December of 1869 in Arkansas, according to the 1900 census, and the Nancy Hutchinson who was the daughter of John and Sarah was born in December of 1869, as is shown in the 1870 census. This is the only Nancy Hutchinson that could be found in Arkansas of this age. Minnie Slusher's middle name was Abigail, which was the name of the woman of the house in the family that Nancy can be found living with, the Eli Bradley family, as an orphan in 1880. She also has a child named Eli and a child named Dona, which was the name of a child living in the same house as her in 1880. In the 1900 census the birthplace of Nancy's parents is listed as unknown, and also in that census there is a boarder living with the family by the name of George Bradley.

According to Arkansas marriage record transcripts, William H. Slusher (resident of Brawley, Scott County, Arkansas, age 21) married Nancy Matilda Hutchins [sic] (resident of Brawley, Scott County, Arkansas, age 18) on February 26, 1888 in Scott County.

Information found on findagrave.com and photos of their headstones (photo 2) shows that William H. Slusher lived from September 7, 1868 to December 10, 1944, and was buried in Konowa Memorial Cemetery in Konowa, Seminole County, Oklahoma, and that Nanie Slusher lived from December 15, 1869 to January 18, 1913, and was buried in Cupco Cemetery in Yanush, Latimer County, Oklahoma.

On page 38 of the 1880 census for District 180 (Center) in Sebastian County, Arkansas (dated June 22, 1880), Eli L. Bradley is listed as the head of the household for house #339, he's a farmer, born in Alabama, parents born in Alabama, and he's 47 years old. Also listed are Abigail (wife, born in Arkansas, parents born in Tennessee, age 36), Nancy M. Hutchinson (orphan, born in Arkansas, parents born in Arkansas, age 10), John H. Bradley (brother, married, farmer, born in Arkansas, parents born in Alabama, age 26), Elizabeth Bradley (sister-in-law, married, born in Arkansas, parents born in Tennessee, age 22), Dona E. Bradley (niece, born in Arkansas, parents born in Arkansas, age 2), Delonia A. Bradley [hard to read] (niece, born in Arkansas, parents born in Arkansas, age 2), and William J. Bradley (brother, single, farmer, born in Arkansas, parents born in Alabama, age 24).

Shlusher is listed as the head of the household for house #346, he's a farmer, born in September of 1866 in Indiana, parents born in Kentucky, married for 12 years, and he's 33 years old. Also listed are Nannie (wife, born in December of 1869 in Arkansas, parents born unknown, married for 12 years, she's given birth to 5 children and all are still living, age 30), Harrison (son, born in January of 1889 in Arkansas, age 11), Lillie (daughter, born in March of 1892 in Indian Territory [Oklahoma], age 8), Lenard (son, born in September of 1894 in Indian Territory, age 5), Minnie (daughter, born in March of 1896 in Missouri, age 4), Dona (daughter, born in October of 1898 in Oklahoma, age 1), Andy Beck (boarder, single, farm laborer, born in 1856 in Missouri, father born in Alabama, mother born in Tennessee, age 44), and George Bradley (boarder, single, farm laborer, born in January of 1878 in Arkansas, father born in Alabama, mother born in Tennessee, age 22). The pages of this census report are listed out of order, that's why this family is found on pages 65 & 67.
